A dredger is a marine vessel fitted with a device to scrap or suck the sediment deposition over sea bed. The device used for excavation and scraping of the sea bed is called the Dredge or Sand dredging.
In a more general sense, a ship equipped with excavation tool which is capable of weeding off depositions such as sand, gravel, sediments, etc. from the seabed is referred as dredger ship or more commonly a dredger.
There are many types of dredgers divided into the following functions according to their functions:

Today I will focus on introducing our cutter suction dredger.
Cutter Suction Dredger is a stationary dredger which makes use of a cutter head to loosen the material to be dredged. It pumps the dredged material via a pipeline ashore or into barges. While dredging the cutter head describes arcs and is swung around the spud-pole powered by winches. The cutter head can be replaced by several kinds of suction heads for special purposes, such as environmental dredging.
Cutter Suction Dredgers are ideal choice for sand field and river sand mining. It can also be used in salt mining in salt lakes, offshore and river dredging, hard riverbed mining, waterway improvement and development. Dug sand after screening and separation is pure and inclusion-free, which is an ideal choice for the building industry.
